Your exam, turned into today's plan.

For SSC, UPSC, banking, TNPSC, railways, GATE, NDA and state PSC exams.

  • No sign-up needed to try
  • 50,000 free AI credits
  • Study in 11 languages

Plan

A plan built from what actually gets asked.

Tell it your exam, your exam date and how many hours a day you can give. The AI studies the exam's pattern and previous-year questions, then builds a daily routine of timed sessions — with more time for the topics that come up most.

  • Made for your exact exam. Type a broad category like “Banking exam” and it asks which one you mean, so the plan matches the paper you'll actually sit.
  • Priorities you can see. Every session is marked High, Medium or Low, so on a busy day you know what to protect.
  • Fixed or flexible. Give sessions clock times, or keep an ordered list and study at your own pace.
  • Catch-up without guilt. Falling behind for days? It offers to shrink your routine to what your best days show you can do. Sessions are paused, never deleted.

Focus

A timer that keeps honest time.

Press Start and study. The timer keeps going when you switch tabs or lock your phone, and stops by itself when the session's time is up — so a session can never be over- or under-counted.

  • Focus Shield. On the Android app, notifications and calls go quiet the moment a session starts and come back when it ends.
  • See where the time went. The Wastage report puts planned time next to studied time for every session, with a daily studied-vs-wasted ribbon.
  • A full-screen Live Session. Clock faces, notes, study material and a quick-revise shortcut sit beside the timer without stopping it.
  • Reports you can keep. A day-end summary of your hours and goal, and a PDF report for any date range.

Learn

Study material that's checked before you read it.

Open any session for quick notes, five MCQs or a summary in seconds — or go deep. Every section is fact-checked by a second AI pass before it's saved, and practice questions whose explanation contradicts the answer are dropped.

  • Deep dives in seven tabs. Important notes, core concepts, key formulas, practice problems, an MCQ quiz, scoring objectives and exam strategy for each subtopic.
  • Ask a doubt on any concept. Get a worked example, or see how that concept is usually asked in the exam.
  • In your language. 11 languages, written like good coaching notes: explanations in your language, technical terms in English.
  • Instant when someone got there first. If another student on your exam already generated a section, it opens instantly for a small one-time price, and reopening it is free.

Lumi, your AI mentor

A mentor who remembers you.

Lumi remembers your exam, your weak subjects and your goals across weeks. When you sound worn out, it eases off and may suggest a lighter session. It checks in at sensible moments — after a session, in the week before your exam, when you've gone quiet — and never through push notifications.

  • Replies in English, Tamil, Tanglish, Hindi and Hinglish
  • Lumi Call: talk it through out loud (with the Ultra or Elite credit pack)
  • Sign in with Google to use Lumi

Revise

Revision that gets harder as you get better.

Mark a subtopic studied and it joins your revision queue. Every time you get it right, it comes back a little later and asks a little more — from a quick MCQ up to a twisted, applied question.

  • Six levels, spaced out. A topic you keep getting right returns after 1, 3, 7, 14 and 30 days, then every two months.
  • Forgiving by design. Get one wrong and it's due tomorrow, but you never slip more than one level back.
  • Always know what's due. The Due Today banner sorts topics into urgent, weak, due and strong, with a two-week heatmap of what's coming.

Test

Mock tests that feel like exam day.

Full-length computer-based tests on your exam's real pattern — the same sections, marks, negative marking and sectional timing. Everyone on your exam gets the same Paper 1, so your score means something.

  • Your first mock test is free. After that, each paper is a small one-time credit cost, and every re-attempt of a paper you own is free.
  • Just like the real software. Section tabs, the question palette, mark for review — and an answer counts only once you save it.
  • A clock that doesn't bend. Real time keeps running if you lock your phone, the paper submits itself at zero, and you can resume if the app closes.
  • Learn from every mistake. Review every answer with its explanation, and ask the AI a doubt about any question.

The Crossing

Every hour you study moves the boat.

Your exam is the lighthouse, and you're in a small boat heading for it. With an exam date and a plan, the distance is exactly what your plan still asks of you — so it shortens as the exam gets closer.

  • You never go backwards.Miss a few days and fog hides the light, but no progress is taken away. Study anything and it lifts the same day.
  • Arriving is for keeps. No reset and no streak to break. Once you reach home, you stay there.

The anchor

Record who you're doing this for — a line in your own words, a photo, a short voice note. It appears at one moment only: when you press Stop a few minutes before a session ends. The timer keeps running while you decide.

Free for everyone, guests included. No credits, no Pro, no sign-in. Nobody else can see your crossing, and your anchor never leaves your device.

Stay on course

You're not studying alone.

Pick your exam and you're in its community automatically — free, and open to guests. See who's studying right now, join today's shared challenge and welcome people who have just started.

  • Challenges and a podium. Join the day's goal and watch a live board, then cheer yesterday's top three.
  • Study groups. Private, invite-only groups with chat, shared plans members can copy in one tap, and a shared library. (Pro)
  • A weekly leaderboard. Your timer hours against everyone's. Signed-in students appear, and Pro shows your name and exact rank.
  • Streaks that pay. Study every day and your plant grows. Flowers on days 3, 7, 14 and 30 pay free credits, from 20,000 up to 2 lakh.

Questions

Asked before signing up.

Something else? Email studytimerpro@gmail.com — we reply within 24–48 hours.

Is Lighthouse Prep free?

Yes. Your study plans, the session timer, reports, spaced revision, The Crossing and the community are free. AI features such as building a plan or generating study material use credits, and everyone starts with 50,000 free. Lighthouse Pro (₹99 a month or ₹799 a year in India) removes ads and adds extras like the full current affairs, study groups and unlimited Lumi chat.

Do I need to sign up to try it?

No. Continue as a guest to build an AI study plan, run sessions and use your free credits straight away, with your data kept in that browser. Sign in with Google when you want Lumi, a place on the leaderboard and your plans synced across devices; your guest data comes with you.

Which exams does it support?

You type your exam's name, so it isn't limited to a fixed list. It is used most for SSC, UPSC, banking (IBPS, SBI, RBI), TNPSC, railway exams, GATE, NDA and state PSC exams. The AI builds the plan from that exam's pattern and previous papers; if you type a broad category like "Banking exam", it asks you to pick the specific one.

How is my study plan made?

You tell it your exam, exam date, how many hours a day you can study and when you usually study. The AI analyses the exam's pattern and previous-year questions and builds a daily routine of timed sessions weighted towards the topics that are asked most. You can rebuild it any time with Plan with AI.

Does it work on iPhone and on a laptop?

Yes. Lighthouse Prep runs in any modern browser at lighthouseprep.in/app, and there are real app store listings: Google Play for Android and the Microsoft Store for Windows. On iPhone, iPad, Mac and Linux you can install it straight from the browser so it gets its own window and icon. Focus Shield, which silences your phone during sessions, is Android-only because other platforms don't allow apps to control Do Not Disturb.

Can I study in Hindi, Tamil or another language?

Yes. Study material, revision questions and mock tests work in 11 languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Kannada, Gujarati, Malayalam, Odia and Punjabi. Technical terms stay in English with your language alongside, the way good coaching notes are written. Lumi, the AI mentor, replies in English, Tamil, Tanglish, Hindi and Hinglish.

Are the mock tests real previous papers?

No. They are full-length tests generated to mirror your exam's real pattern and weightage — the same sections, marks, negative marking and sectional timing — so the questions are fresh practice rather than copies of past papers. Your first mock test is free; after that each paper is a small one-time credit cost, and re-attempts are free.

Does it work offline?

Partly. Once installed it opens without a connection and the session timer keeps running; your study time saves on the device and syncs when you're back online. AI features, the leaderboard and group chat need a connection.
