Lighthouse Prep · Study material

AI study notes for every topic in your plan, checked before you read them.

Every session in your Lighthouse Prep plan can make its own study material: quick notes in seconds, or a full deep dive that splits the topic into subtopics with notes, concepts, formulas, a quiz and exam strategy. It's written for your exam, in your language, and a second AI pass checks it before it reaches you.

Everyone starts with free AI credits. Works on Android and in any browser.

Notes that know which exam you're preparing for

A general AI tool writes about a topic. It doesn't know whether you're preparing for SSC CGL, TNPSC Group 4 or GATE, or how your paper tends to ask about it. Material in Lighthouse Prep starts from a session in your own plan, so it's written for your exam from the first line, with the parts that tend to get asked up front.

The 10-second version

Open a session, tap Material, and three buttons give you something straight away:

  • Quick notes — a short, scannable set of notes on the session's topic.
  • 5 MCQs — five practice questions with answers.
  • Summary — the key points, condensed.

Everything you make is saved under All materials, grouped by day. From there you can load more, convert it into one of the other formats, or export it as a file.

The deep dive

For real study, make the topic breakdown. Your session's topic is split into chapters and subtopics, and each subtopic opens seven tabs:

  • Important Notes — the things that actually get asked.
  • Core Concepts — each idea as its own short card.
  • Key Formulas — with what every symbol means.
  • Practice Problems — worked examples you can follow step by step.
  • MCQ Quiz — questions on the subtopic, with explanations.
  • Scoring Objectives — what you should be able to do before you move on.
  • Exam Strategy — how the topic is best tackled in the paper.

It's written as scannable bullets with the words that matter in bold and a memory tip at the end, not walls of text. Sections can also carry an illustration of the idea, drawn as a diagram rather than decoration.

Stuck on one point?

Every concept card has an Explain button that works through that one idea with an example and leaves a box open for your doubts, so you can keep asking until it makes sense. A Most-asked button next to it shows the ways that concept tends to be asked in exams.

Checked before it reaches you

AI notes can be confidently wrong. So every section goes through a second AI review before it's saved, and quiz questions are checked by solving them again rather than trusting the answer key. A question whose explanation contradicts its own answer is thrown away, not shown to you. If something still looks wrong, every card has a report button that goes straight to the team.

In your language

Material works in 11 languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Kannada, Gujarati, Malayalam, Odia and Punjabi. Technical terms stay in English with your language alongside, the way good coaching notes are written.

Notes that feed your revision

As you work through subtopics, they're added to your spaced-revision queue, which brings each one back at widening intervals and asks harder questions each time you get it right. The day after you study a session, Lumi, the app's AI mentor, can also give you a two-minute recap of it.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?
Study material uses your AI credits, and everyone starts with 50,000 free. Quick notes and MCQs cost little; a deep dive costs more, and other languages a little more than English. The app shows a rough cost before it makes a topic breakdown, and once you've opened a section, reopening it is free.
Is the material shared with other students?
Each section is made once for an exam, subject and topic and then reused, so if someone preparing for the same exam has already opened it, it appears for you instantly. You pay a small one-time price the first time you open each section. Your own notes and anything you save stay private to you.
Can I trust AI-written notes?
No AI is perfect, which is why every section is reviewed by a second AI pass and quiz questions are solved again before you see them. Anything that still looks wrong can be reported from the card it's on.
Which exams does it work for?
Any exam you make a plan for. You type your exam's name, so it isn't a fixed list. It's used most for SSC, UPSC, banking, TNPSC, railway exams and GATE.
Can I add my own notes?
Yes. Your own text notes on any topic are free. Saving images, PDFs and links alongside them is part of Lighthouse Pro.
Can I download the notes?
Yes. Quick notes, MCQs and summaries can be exported as a file from the screen they open on.
